Attorney · Public Health Researcher · Writer
First-generation Latina attorney who graduated first in her law school class and served on law review. Her career spans public health research, legal advocacy, and a commitment to social justice — with a poetry book to prove writing can be the sharpest tool in the room.
Background
Paola Vargas Daly built her professional foundation in public health research — contributing as first or second author on peer-reviewed publications for the Lupus Foundation of America — before earning her JD and channeling that evidence-based lens directly into legal practice.
She graduated first in her law school class and served on law review, honors that carry particular weight for a first-generation college student who navigated that world without a roadmap. Her work has always been anchored in service: to communities underrepresented in research, in courtrooms, and on the page.
When she is not practicing law, she writes — poetry, mostly, because some arguments are best made in verse.
